  Congratulations to all of the winners of this year Pine Cone Tournament. The staff of Southern Pines worked very hard preparing the course, food, and tournament play for all participants.

Southern Pines Junior Wins 1st Place

photo1-mod.jpgCongrulations to Joel Boyett for winning 1st place in the Lousiana Junior Amatuer Championship in the 10 to 12 year old division. Joel traveled down to Beaver Creek Golf Club in Zachary on July 6th to compete in the championship and was the only player in his group to shoot under par.

Let’s talk about some golf rules and etiquette at Southern Pines Golf Club.

Please remember that our rules apply to EVERY member and their Guests. And speaking of guests, each is the responsibility of the member. Now that that’s all out of the way, let’s start upon arrival at the club. When getting to the club, it is imperative that every golfer check in at the pro-shop.

Mardi Gras Brunch on Sunday, February 5th

 Join us Sunday, Feb. 5th for our Mardi Gras Brunch at Pine Hills Country Club beginning at 11a.m.  Bring your camera to take photos of your children and/or grandchidlren with club member Nannette White, who was elected Queen Janus XXIX, and Todd Werner, King Janus XXIX, of the Krewe of Janus.  Both will be appearing from 11a.m.-1p.m. in their 2012 Mardi Gras costumes.
